Any strange experiences at markets?

A lot of people dont understand that crochet takes time! And plus if you sell ( for example) a loaf cat thats for 15 dollers. Your not getting 15 dollers because you got to minus how much of the yarn was used safety eyes stuffing ect!

Yep exactly! But for some people even with explaining they just won’t get it! It’s so frustrating

There were once these two little girls who looked like sisters and were like 6-8 maybe and they came through and looked through where I had my plushies and set things on the table off of where they were in the display and then turned to leave without placing anything back. The older one said to her sister was like “Don’t get anything here, we’ll look at the other place or we can get grandma to knit it for us.”. I know they were little so I found it a little funny, but there was another crochet lady there with just ami while I had a range of things, but if you get comments that seem off or a little degrading remember that it’s just a person(s) and that at the end of the day you’ll make sales and that your still an amazing artist and aren’t worth the rude comments  ‘Remember who you are and what you stand for.’ is a favorite saying of mine from someone I know, you’ll do great! I had a really great first time and made way more than I expected and I know you’ll do great to!
