question for all the artsy folks out there! when you draw in your sketchbook (or loose pieces of paper), what does that look like usually?

are you just doodling for fun or are you trying to work on stylizing n stuff?
I usually do a pause oc challenge on YouTube!
My old sketch books contain prompts from art class in high school, drawings from tattoos i saw in tattoo magazines, and other random things. My new and current sketch book, has 3 drawings from comps here on Ribblr.
I actually do it for school but rn I’m digitally drawing all the app logos on my phone to redesign them to make it aesthetic… it’s gonna be a while…
I normally draw my own ocs/make new ocs, and sometimes random animals or other things! :3
I always draw my oc!

im trying to make a nice outfit, really intrested in fashion design but im all over sharks and not everyone likes sharks 
sometimes i draw my oc :P but soo planning to make my outfit design on a crocheted body base :P im tooooo busy for this stuff though, really want to get money to buy a tablet for drawing . yea …
I might have a photo somewhere but its like a cat with a square head and duck feet
One of my ocs is a green alien/cat/human thing with full black eyes, and green hair with multiple different swampy-green colors + some black streaks. her body is furry and kinda like a neony green, and shes wearing something kind of like a black tracksuit, ig? And i still need to figure out i name for her
I have a few more, but i have also a simple cat oc named Celeste with white and cyan fur, shes REALLY fluffy and has a cyan star on her forhead that turns into a single sparkle if shes scared, angry, spooked, etc! :3
On the whole: random stuff, nothing too serious
Recently: working on my anatomy/ building up my art portfolio, and when I’m not I’m drawing TADC characters
I’m hoping to to fill at least one of my scetch books with some good drawings instead of random doodles
