Yes good idea
Yes it would be nice to be able to close your own tester call instead of having to get a leader to plus it means less work for them having to close people tester calls non-stop
I didnât realise u had to contact anyone to close the tester. When I put out my call I just edited the title to say closed
Users below Member and Regular can only edit their posts for 24 hours. After that, theyâll have to ask @trust_level_4 or @staff to step in and help.
Whilst itâs harder to become a Regular, any Ribblr whoâs engaged in the community frequently should acquire a Member status relatively quickly.
If this isnât working for you please let us know!
To close a tester call all you need to do is add the word [CLOSED] to the title and then people wonât be able to apply any more. You can also manually delete the link as previously suggested by @SapphireLilyCreations :)
Me!
I think youâre already in the gc @CrochetCutesyCreations, check your dms
This would hopefully be optional, and I get your point.
The limit would make it tricky, but it would definitely help me and some others. I usually only want 5 testers since dealing with more is a lot of work.
I would hope it would be optional to set a limit, and being able to close our own tester calls would help so that itâs immediate. The longest iâve had to wait for a leader to close it was overnight, and by then I had many extra applicants.
Thatâs why the limit would be optional, and if you want you can set it for more so that you have more to choose from. If I wanted 5 testers, I would probably put a limit of 10.
I didnât know that adding closed to the title would close it, I have definitely done that and more people applied, but Karametra said that Ribblr is working on that. I just wish we could close the entire topic, including the replies.
Thanks for telling me though!
Closing topics is only something staff and Leaders can do right now - itâs not likely to change. However if you canât edit the title do let us know or if adding the word CLOSED doesnât work please let us know!

AW
okay
Yes, that would be great, because I always forget to ask and it also makes me feel bad. Like they have a lot on their plates already.
Yeah everytime I do it I cringe.
As soon as I replied, I realized that

I love this! It would be so much more helpful and less unfair to people who applied (although the prolly shouldâve even that you notified the leaders but whateverâŚ) @Ribblr
Please stop tagging Ribblr multiple times in the same post
Ummm⌠you shouldnât tag Ribblr that many times, besides they have already responded to this post.
Hah thatâs fine!
