Hello everyone!! I’ve been thinking about getting into resin recently, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips or information on how to start and what brands of materials are best. Anything helps, thank you :D!

I’ve only done a few but here are my learnings/ tips:
- be patient, I use UV ones and depend on what you are making it can take long time to dry/harden (I was making those chess pieces and it kind of need to be rotate/ turn upside down for all side to be dried properly, I have in multiple occasions put it under the UV light in same position for the recommended time from the resin bottle and the bottom part is still not dry, even hours later lol, still experimenting)
- have multiple colours (clear one are great but buy a few colour powder to mix them in, they look much better!)
- probably wear a glove… (I didn’t but I’m most likely hurting my hands and fingers when the resin got on me, even though I wash them off straight away
)
PS. No recommendation on brand, I just look for UV resin and at somewhat cheap price.
