I am glad crochet is a friendly companion for you. I go to a lot of doctor appointments and crochet is my companion as well. I often have extra yarn and and multiple hooks with me wherever I go. I met a good friend that way irl actually. She looked like she was overwhelmed and about to have a panic attack and I walked up to her and said I know we don’t know each other but I crochet and I have extra yarn, a hook, and I found a place away from humans of you want to join me. Turns out she crochets too. That was about 10 years ago and we have been friends ever since.
