My mom used to have a beta fish but somehow it jumped out/disappeared and we never saw it again idk what the heck happened

I get so mad when I’m in a pet store and just see all the beta fish in these tiny cups with no good water meanwhile the other fish have a tank where they are thriving and the beta fish look so sad. They deserve better.

I used to own a beta fish when it was my kindergarten graduation thing and all I wanted was a betta fish so we got one from the pet store, she was in such bad health, but after a while and a proper home, she thrived there.
