WARRIOR CATS

They have like a ton of books I’d tell you stuff but I don’t want to spoil it. It is for more mature people because it has fighting but really good books.

It’s during a war and a little boy and his parents live in a small-town bakery delivering bread. But eventually the boy learns that his parents are part of the resistance and a friend if his turns out to be someone of interest (for the bad guys) and so he and his parents help his friend escape across the boarder. (Sorry if I gave away too much, I have a bad habit if either saying too much or too little.)

I loved reading all this time and five feet apart!

Some people may enjoy it, but unfortunately it is very cliche. I started it with so much hope after hearing so much about it but it’s basically every single trope and typical YA book shoved into book. Sorry to all the fans out there, no hate.

If you have read all those superior books as you mentioned above, here are a few recommendations,

Echo North by Joanna Ruth Meyer

Emma by Jane Austen ( also P&P if you haven’t read it)

Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim

Wormwood Abbey by Christina Baehr

All the Anne of Green Gables books if you haven’t read those.

Medoran Chronicles by Lynette Noni ( except for the last one, Kaldoras)

I have heaps more if you want them!

That tracks. I would agree (with the ones I’ve read). They have interesting plots that help bring emotions to the surface. Very cathartic. IDK if that interests you or not. They can be kind of heavy too, so try one out and see for yourself.

Thank you for all these. Really, I’m a fast reader (I read 10 books in less than 3 weeks) but this will give me some ideas for summer :)

The book is completely clean with no cuss words, (although there are mentions of child pr0sttuton and one scene where a girl takes her clothes off, but it’s not highly descriptive).
It’s about a girl that lives in a basically new America where a place called the Capitol controls everything, and once there was a war where the other districts rebelled against the Capitol, so now every year the Capitol sends 24 kids, a boy and a girl from each district between the ages of 12 and 17, to fight to the de@th in an arena. The girl’s sister (12) gets chosen to go into the arena, and the girl volunteers to go in her place, and then promises her sister she’ll win, so the whole series is basically about the arena and the aftermath of it.
It’s rlly good tho!

Just finished this myself: the Death catchers. The main character is writing a letter to her English teacher about why she shouldn’t fail English because of all the things going crazy in her life. She can see when some people are going to die (sorta) and it’s super cool! Also, each chapter is named something like “Setting” or “climax” for like the literary elements she is supposed to know! I loved it partly bc of this!

No spice. Just one kiss

Also READ THE UNSELECTED JOURNALS OF EMMA M. LION! About an unordinary almost-21-year-old named Emma M. Lion. The books are written as her journals. She lives in the crazy neighborhood (made up) of Saint Crispians in London. It’s all about her adventures, misadventures, and friends. #1 best books EVER in my opinion!

No spice. In later books, a couple of kisses, but not descriptive
