I got a cheap kids camera for my birthday a few years back and even though it was labeled well, it broke easy and doesn’t work any more, so I would at the very least get it from a place like jb-hi-fi (are those in the UK?) and not Amazon lol

The thing with cameras is you get what you pay for. The less you spend the less features you get so it depends what you are planning on using it for. I highly recommend looking at the used camera market as cameras hold value for a long time

hmm i had a look online a lot of results said that the kodak pixpro were good ones. Maybe also have a look at like jb-hi-fi, they got good quality cameras but some r rlly expensive. They price match (i think) tho so maybe if you find a cheaper one online or somewhere you can pricematch with them? My camera is rlly old i dont think its in production anymore lol

i love my old nikon camera! idk how much they are in pounds, but here in canada around 1,000 cad ( but i got mine at a thrift sale for 150!!)

Look for one with one of those eye things that you look into to shoot the picture rather than one with just a screen! I have one with a screen and my mom has one with an eye looky thingo and I definitely prefer the eye thing.

I also wanted a camera, when I asked my mom for advice (she is a photographer) she gave me a random camera that is older than me 
but it actually makes better photos than my phone

There is one on amazon i got for £100 but i don’t know how to upload it to my device but it is rlly good for the price and comes with memory card 2 batteries and charger
