What have you created from inspiration from your children?
Today @RueBriiFiber posted a call for a Rocket/spaceship inspired by her son’s love of rockets.
I have also been creatively inspired by my children (and honestly my husband, but he’s just a big kid sometimes too). I’d like to see other patterns/makes inspired by childlike joy.
I totally made my Katie the Cuckoo Chicken for my daughter who went through a phase where she squawked like a chicken all the time. Her name is Katie, and the name is approved by her.
I made a whole chicken family for her. They have a roost in her room.
This is a super cute idea.
I don’t have any kids but I have 2 cousins under 2 and I plan on making them HP plushies for Christmas.
Ooh. What HP awesomeness will you make? I totally snagged this owl for free when the Joann promotion was happening because it is a fantastic Hedwig that I made for my sister. Works up great in either size 5 or 6 yarn.
I know the pattern isn’t free, but I noticed it’s often on 50 off promotions at various times.
My daughters have a few drawings that i would like to crochet. I forget about it 
but maybe next time when i have no idea what to make, I’ll have to try to sneakily start to make one or both of their drawings and surprise them. I know they’ll love it!
