hi everybody! this is my first time posting here so im not sure if this is the right place! my absolute favorite yarn to crochet with is the loops&threads petite purls yarn. i have it in light blue and i have made as much as i possibly could with one color lol. its a really nice 4 weight chenille yarn, silky but full and very smooth to work with. i love it because its a nice chenille yarn, but in a smaller weight so i can make small plushies. i wanted to expand my colors, so i ordered it from the usual place in white. i picked it up and it is HORRIBLE. like im not sure the exact words to describe it, but its not fluffy at all, very “sparse” i guess with fiber, and its matted like a matte blanket yarn. its a nightmare to work with as it tugs on my crochet needle. im wondering if it got wet or something and dried this way. does anyone know any ways i could fix this? is it just a bad batch issue? if anyone has any tips of reviving its texture, or had a similar problem with another yarn before, lmk please!!

I have some petite purl too and I think that it’s just a thing where the textures vary drastically

I know some have issues with the company, but I’d have to recommend hobby lobbys and yarn bee and baby bee, if you have issues that’s fine I’m not gonna push it on anyone, just my preference and opinion, always the individual’s choice
Also if you decide to go with hobby lobby never buy their yarn not on sale unless it’s for something you can’t wait a week for because the yarn is all 30% off every other week no matter what
