Hahahaha the eyes by the snout killed me. Couldn’t contain my amusement. I think it looks wonderful! Maybe shorten and flatten the bottom a bit more to be a bit closer to the picture but even without that super cute! I think the eyes going a bit lower than the first picture will help. Maybe even bigger eyes to match the oversized mouth?

i think you would solve the problem adding eyes, because the forehead is actually really spacious and needs something (aka eyes).
and scales on the back maybe should be a little bigger?

So cute! I think it looks good both ways. You could add eyes to the pattern and call it “optional.” Also, the lower eyes look a bit more like nostrils to me.

Do not scrap it PLEASE! This pattern is a need and I MUST make it. Its so funny and unique! I think its fine without eyes but if you do add them it will still be perfect.

Maybe the tail can be positioned more 90 degrees/horizontal rather than pointing downwards.
Also, I like the ideas of more than 2 eyes, so my idea is for eyes like Sussie the magpie from kpop demon hunters
