Did I create…. A monster?

Why do you keep rejecting it!? :sob: it’s so adorable

ok this freaky little dude is COMPLETELY my speed, well into this! i don’t think the eyes add a great deal but the low eyes are better than the high ones. i’d joyfully make and cherish this pattern

Haha! The position is so fun!

The only issue with flattening the bottom is that the belly of the duck would show more than the face and the face would be partially hidden by the upper mouth/teeth  Bigger eyes sound great! I’ll try it out!

I’ll redo the scales! Thank you!

That sounds like a good idea! Thank you!

Yes. I do plan on making the eyes optional so that my cover image matches the drawing.

I will do my best  but I am forgetful, so if you turn on post notifications on my profile, you will get a notification when I post!

Sounds good :joy: I’ll try reshaping him a bit. I just didn’t want it to turn into a ball shaped bird as those are pretty common patterns.

The tail is there to help the dino keep its balance  if the tail is repositioned to a 90° angle, the body would either fall forward or lean backward on the tail.

The eyes would be cute as well as a personal make

I used Crafter’s secret Big Idea Limelight from Hobby Lobby (left over from my kitsune pattern )

Because it looks wrong in my eyes :sob: maybe its the teeth that’s setting me off… maybe the shaping… I don’t know

I think I fixed it  it definitely needed stuffing on the sides of the body (didn’t stuff it because I thought it would push the mouth part more inward to make less space for the duck to sit)! Thank you @iscraem for noticing that it was too skinny!

I will also be doing @WalktoCrochet ‘s face and I fixed the plates like you suggested. Thank you so much (you are so helpful with everything :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:)

I’ll probably add the face after I take some pictures of it without it so it matches the drawing :joy:

Sunny side up toad fits inside its mouth :joy:

Thank you everyone for your helpful suggestions and support! You guys are more than welcome to keep suggesting faces as I will be making another one :joy:

I love it! With the eyes lower it made me think of nostrils  since they were so close to the teeth!
