Had a thought. What if you had the legs going out front so its sorta sitting on its belly? Then the tail could go back instead of down and it wouldnt have trouble sitting up.
Or it could just have 4 feet. (Maybe only the 2 closest feet showed in the kids pic)
Also, I noticed the kid very carefully left white spits on the head. Were you going to add those?
