(assuming you’re selling Christmas themed stuff) you could make the stand look like Santa’s workshop. You could have elves to help, have a fake fire place, leave out the classic plate with cookies and milk, and use a backdrop or something. just make it cozy and christmasy. You could also make it gimmicky by having an elf wrap whatever the customer bought in gift wrapping or something. hopefully this was helpful (and don’t mind the lack of proper grammar)

I did a Christmas market last year and the Christmas stuff didn’t sell as well as the normal stuff, so I’m probably only going to have a few Christmas things :(

I do really like that idea though, I think that would be sooo cute!! I just need to figure out what kind of shelving would be best lol.

Thank you!

A lot of people just stack wooden crates. I’ve seen some people add fairy lights to the inside to light their display. Cheap shoe racks from dollar general work well too. Adding hight is a great way to show off your products!

I used an old 3 tiered fruit basket for my smaller items and plastic baskets for larger items. I didn’t have a lot to display though lol

Oooo, that would be so pretty! I’d have to get some though (I only have plug in ones).

I never thought of shoes racks, but I think that would be perfect!! Yess for sure!

Ya, last year I just had lots of different sized baskets because I already had them lol. I definitely want the display to be better this time!

I have a 3-tier shelf like this, but want to get this 5-tier… Amazon.com: 5 Tier Folding Shelf with Wheels,Metal Steel Collapsible Shelves,No Assembly Portable Shelves Organizer Rack,Rolling Standing Utility Rack for Kitchen, Pantry, Office, White : Home & Kitchen

Otherwise I use a variety of wooden crates to vary height along with different baskets and containers. I agree that people are less likely to purchase Christmas themed items and prefer every day animals.

True true people are more buying gifts and less decorations in December. Santa’s workshop sounds so cool tho!

Even if you don’t buy a bunch or new displays, table cloths in a bright color attract a lot of people!! Mine are hot pink and almost everyone at the fair stopped by! If you are investing in displays, stuff with a lot of height is great, like shelves and racks. DECIDE ON YOUR COLOR THEME AND BRAND BEFORE YOU INVEST SO YOU DONT CHANGE YOUR MIND LATER I didn’t do this and now I have to start all over.
(Also be wary of negative space, people can easily miss crochet items in a crowded place if there is nothing behind them but space.)
Hope this is helpful! I’ll be praying on December 6th!!

Oh wow that’s super nice!! https://www.dollartree.com/6-cube-storage-rack-1-ct/383009i I saw that the dollar tree has this one for 6 bucks and I’m also selling art prints so I’ll also get a dish rack to put them in (1.50 at dollar tree). Your link is way fancier haha, though since I plan on doing more markets, it may be a good investment!!

Yaa, agreed :(

Frrr! I’m gonna hand knit a couple stockings and see if they do well at all. I’d sell them for 25 each since the chunky yarn is only 6 dollars at hobby lobby (30% off right now) and they last for many years and only take an hour to make! I do have a couple plushies that are Christmassey, but don’t expect them to do that well lol!

Ooo this info is super helpful!

Yes, last year I had a white table cloth so I’ll definitely look out for a more bright one!

Yesss! I really need to get some stuff like that. Oh yeah, I’m probably gonna keep it fairly simply coloured so the crochet can stand out more. Luckily I’m at the front of the room as you walk in so I’m the first thing you see!!

I HAVE ARRIVED lol

First, read this!

When displaying items, definitely go for varies heights. Crates and baskets are your best friends!! For example, here’s an old display of mine that was flat, vs the new one that had height! So much better

Also recommend getting those tablecloths that hook around the bottom of the tables, they look sooooo good! Plus a festive cloth that matches the theme of the market can be really cute.

When using baskets, they can be turned upside down to create height, or you can put things in them, like my $5 bin.

Also love my acrylic signs… they add more of that height! I have one for my mystery boxes, one with my Venmo and payment options, and one that advertises custom loaf cats.

Also, if you have multiple of I’ve item (keychains, $5 items, mystery boxes, ect) use some cute signage! I found these mini blackboards on Amazon that take upped my display game.

Here’s the acrylic signs!

Most of my crates, baskets, and other display items are literally just taken from around my house!

Good luck, and hope this helps!

My preference, but I like to use black tablecloths so my colorful crafts speak for themselves! I do tend to stuff too much on my tables lol

This is a really cute idea! I do tend to group my Christmas stuff together and then kitchen stuff together, etc.

Sorry, another thought…I had a $3 bin/clear tote (I underprice my goods :grimacing:) and was very popular as people loved pawing through this.
