I know this isn’t craft related, but can we all take a moment of mourning for the queen of country Dolly Parton.
Today, of undisclosed causes as of right now, Dolly Parton the famous music artist and beloved woman known across the world passed today at age 80.
She was the heart of places like Dollywood, Imagination Library, and country music.
Children’s Hospital was recently named Dolly Partons Children’s Hospital, and they were going to do a “opening” of sorts for her with her there. We do not know if it is postponed or canceled yet because this came so suddenly.
Dolly’s books were receivedat my home as kids because we received books from the Imagination Library.
Dolly was truly a legend. She was loved by many. She was the butterfly of hope in so many kids lives.

I have just found out that dolly parton just died this morning. I am not a country fan anymore but she really inspired me when I was younger. If you do not know who she is, she was a very famous country singer. Some famous songs of hers were “I will always love you” “Jolene” and “9 to 5” Rest in peace Dolly. You were loved by so many and I hope that your legacy lives on for a very long time
