Drawing help!

So, you know when you draw a really good picture on paper and you wanna keep it? I drew some pictures that I liked, but I want to transfer them to my computer, without the lines on there, and I don’t want to trace them on my computer. If anybody has good links or tips, that would be great!

I used to be a comicker - I scanned the drawings (if you don’t have a scanner, you can take a photo and turn it into a PDF) and then inked and colored them in Inkscape/GIMP.

Is that what you mean?
