End of June Check In!

Hello everyone!

June is coming to a close and I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing?
Are you working on any new projects, in the middle of one? Can’t decide what to make?

I want to hear from all of you. Feel free to send a picture of your WIPs and projects, or even a photo of your pet.

I was working on the skunk for the Summertime series, but I’m running low on black yarn and have no safety eyes :sob:

I’m having my partner pick them up on his way home. Hopefully he remembers and grabs the right ones

Here’s how far I got:

I’ve been working on batches of things to get photos of to post for sale online as made-to-order customs with all the color options I have in stock. Specifically mushroom pops, POP-sicles, and ice cream pops! And some regular market prep, such as restocking keychains.

I also participated in Game of Shrooms this year! I got my bf to drive me around and help hide shrooms. It was a fun day out, walked a couple malls in the process, got some boba, saw D9 thc and “psychedelic” mushroom (legal shrooms aren’t real psychedelics) products in mall kiosks. It’s just weird to see that so out in the open in Utah lol I’d only ever seen them in smoke shops before that. Anyway by the end, I got a few ig messages from people who found my shrooms! So that was awesome.

Well I’m making several things. I did finish a bralette for my daughter.
Making a triangle toy thing, the Hope and Wishes blanket by Angels Crochet Studio, and Frankie bloomers!
Oh, and a firefly to finish sewing.

I just finished a test and have a project I’m trying to finish. I have another test i need to get started on.

I feel like i haven’t had much time to crochet lately and i feel bad committing to these things :upside_down_face: I’ve also been struggling with the motivation to crochet lol

But it’ll all work out!

How about yourself?

Good luck with your project and test!

I completely get how your feeling. Sometimes i take on tests at the most busy of times, or when i just dont feel up to crocheting. But it always works out! That deadline is a good motivation, and finishing it up is usually a mood booster :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: you got this!

june has been unexpectedly very stressful! (… even though i probably should have expected it ) i haven’t been able to crochet for a little over a week since I’ve been moving. i still can’t crochet because there are boxes everywhere and it’s just so stressful!! :sob:

i have no idea what i’d even get started on making once i am able to crochet again, so if anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears!

How well is the pattern written? I was looking at some of her designs. Be honest please.
Are there stitch counts after each round/row?
Pictures of hard to understand transitions?
Supply list accurate?
If needed, responsive to questions?
Any videos/video links?

There are stitch counts at the end of each row. The pdf has a good amount of pictures, and supply list is accurate. They are pretty simply written though, definitely doesnt hold your hand through it  i haven’t messaged the designer for any help so im not sure about responsiveness. No videos.

They are not too hard though i think. As long as you have some experience with wiring and working around a chain. The only complaint i have would be with assembly. Ive had to pay alot of attention to the pictures in the pdfs there. The written instructions around it are kind of lacking.

Edit- their free patterns are written in about the same detail if you look through one of those! I just checked.
