Welp, I wanted to have this sweater done by tomorrow… I have one and a half sleeves left rn… not gonna happen! Im accepting defeat but I’m still going to finish this sweater soon!
The reason why Im not farther along is because life got busy with some fun stuff and I got distracted by my phone many times and that’s ok lol
Anyhoo my new challenge for myself with this sweater is to finish it by next Friday since Im going to be gone all weekend, (I will be posting about my road trip projects soon teehee;) but with school/work/dance Im worried I won’t get it done, my goal is to work as much as humanly possible on it tmr!! Hopefully I won’t have much left to do Monday-Thursday and I can get it done in between stuff.

As I see it, you didn’t fail in not completing it by a set date. It was just not factoring in enough time for the unexpected. Murphys Law and all.
Imo it helps to leave yourself a bit longer than expected as you never know what may come up in life.

Tysm! Very true, I often set impossible standards for myself and when I don’t meet them I get upset, not a great habit but I’m working on it! Im not to upset about not hitting my goal though, it’s going to be so cute that anything is worth it!

Don’t be too hard on yourself. School and other things should be more important than crochet (gasp, I can’t believe I said that 
). Your progress in just a week is unbelievable. I am sure you should be able to take it on your road trip.
Enjoy finishing this and planning on what to take on your road trip.
I have a deadline of Oct 28th to finish this dress for my daughter’s Halloween costume. Almost done with the skirt, then back to finish the top, and add sleeves. (Both of which will be a 1st for me) and I have to go get more yarn (2 pound of love skeins not enough)

Tysm! Yeah, schools more important…. lol, I technically can take it on my trip but I have a specific idea for my trip projects so I don’t want to mess that up, one thing about me is I like structured plans, I don’t like it when they fail!
That dress is so pretty! I don’t know that I’d have the discipline to make a whole dress, good luck with it!! I can’t wait to see a pic when it’s all done!
