Hi everyone o/
Today my mom surprised me with a bunch of faux fur yarn! Ive never worked with it before. Does anyone have any suggestion/ patterns i could use? All i can think of are teddy bears
Hedgehog, sloth, and koala!! I love making hedgehogs with that yarn
Yes definitely hedgehogs!! Also cows would be a cute option (I found a cute, free video tutorial for a highland cow, I can give you the link if you want!) also maybe this?
Oh thank you! Ive been meaning to make a hedgehog for a gift, sounds perfect

Cow
I used a different brand and my own pattern but heres how my highland cow came out. Seriously weighed a good 5 pounds you can also use it for details like wings
Oh wow it looks great!! so adorable. I cant wrap my head around writing my own patterns, so always in awe of what people can do.
Did you double strand with a normal yarn or use just the fur?
Dog or a fluffy cow
I bunny would be cute!
Ive been looking at bunnies! Itd be so cute
This would be really cute!
i used my faux fur yarn for my lion mane (pattern by @Merlin1 ) just by itself, without double stranding
USE BIG HOOK cs
Just the fur for the body and then the plush for the other bits. Its the joann big twist fur yarn. I did unwind it though and turned it into a 2 strand vs 3. Its also really cute yarn to use for birds
Cute!! I do like it use for justbits and pieces of a pattern like that it works so well
I love that, sooo cute!
Oh nice! To be honest i was gonna double strand to make the visibility easier i guess the project may turn out huge that way though.
Yes and no, if you are making like a pocket pet, double stranded, itxll be normal sized, if its like a normal sized item double stranded? Yea…it’ll be huge. But also depends alot on your tension and hook size use.
