Guys it feels like my parents are literally favorateing my little brother and sister like hello? Like for example today he kept on spitting on me and I had asked him to stop nicely like 3 times and after that I yelled at him and my mom yelled at me for not saying it nicely…WHAT he was the one who kept spitting on Me. Idk my parents have just been really hard on me lately.

Sounds like my parents all 3 of my siblings are autistic and I have adhd i was watching them yesterday and my sister cut her hair I got blamed for it happening but I dealing with other things going on and my dad took my yarn well I was cleaning and had a ball of yarn in my hand and my mom went and told my dad and my dad told me to put it in his room that he was taking it tomorrow too. But then won’t take my siblings stuff because they are harder to put up with when they don’t have anything to do.

Yeah. It’s been happening alot to me as well. I won’t go into the details, but my parents (mostly dad, really) seem to like her over me. I would recommend talking with your parents about it, but STOP THE CONVERSATION if they start using lines like “we like you both in different ways" or “everything we do is for your own good”. Trust me, I know from experience they don’t mean it

Ugh that’s awful…for me it felt like they just liked my sister more, and the worst part is that I get it. I’m messy, airheaded, lazy, and like to procrastinate. She’s neat, focused, and always on top of things. Honestly it’s like this one bluey episode called “mini bluey” (it’s on the youtube channel I believe) and it’s so relatable…totally recommend

I feel the same way but I’m the youngest and it’s clear that my mom favourites my brother and my dad favourites me but I thinks it’s because I have more in common with my dad than my mom’s and vise versa. I feel you tho it really sucks and unfortunately there’s kinda nothing you can do about it until you move out

Although it feels this way sometimes, we have to remember that our parents are just humans too! They don’t actually love your siblings more than you, they aren’t trying to make you feel hurt, sad, or angry.
And I know it’s hard, because I’ve been through this myself, but we just have to remember this in the moment, and forgive them, because they are just people just like us!
