Hi! Young author (or trying to be) here!
I’m starting to write a novel, and I need some help with the first chapter. I have… two or three variations. This ones the most recent and I may start with that one.
But i need to know- does this interest you guys? Like if you picked up my book, are you gonna read it based off the first chapter? (I’m not sure I’m completely done with the first chapter but my hand hurts now LOL)
Note- I’m so sorry if some spots are hard to read. I have terrible handwriting!

Yes, of course I’d read this! It’s honestly a great introduction by both describing what others want for the narrator and what they want for themself.
