Sooo I just wrote a poem for the first time and I just wanted to know what y’all think of it! So here it is!
Painted Hearts
I’ve known it since
The moment we met
That I would fall for you,
You picked up a brush and suddenly
You painted hearts in my eyes.
2 years pass, something’s different
You’ve grown distant
The twinkle in your eyes has dimmed
And your lies have yet to begin
The Hearts you painted still exist
But the paint has cracked and chipped
