The short answer is no - they won’t.
It’s not an event, it’s a platform-wide Gem boost. every Gem up until today has been multiplied by 100. Hope that makes sense!

Oh in the first place I didn’t have gems so it didn’t multiplie anything but I earned 6 today but still I wish I had 100

It’s not that the gems are actually worth the old value. Devaluing them lets Ribblr do more with the gems so, for instance, you can get one gem which is worth 100th of an old gem for watching an ad. It wouldn’t have been feasible to give a gem away for something like that at their old value. They can also give us more ways to spend gems since each gem is only a fraction of the value of the old ones. You didn’t miss out on anything by not having gems when they made the switch.

If you had 1 Gem yesterday, it’ll be worth 100 Gems today. If you had 9, you would have 900 Gems today.
If you had none, you still have none. But the very good news is you can get 50 Gems today by heading over to our Mayhem page!

Since there are now diamonds for streaks, can I expect anything else to come in if I have a 63-day streak? Or will it only come in the next round?

I also got 5 gems when I first went to the Mayhem. But when I went there a second time, I got 50 gems.

ahhh this is sooo cool!
one problem i have tho is that as the day streak increases, the amount of gems u use increases? its kinda annoying cuz I lost my 233 day streak a few days ago to go on hols, and now i have to use 60 to continue! I dont think increasing by 20 every 100 (i assume) is very fair <3

50 gems is the mayhem gift for today, 5 gems is an extra for learning about the new gem setup.
