In 2026 I’m trying to set myself a challenge to not start any new crochet/ knit projects until I finish all of the WIPs (work in progress) that are currently sitting in a box. Some of these I started years ago and I am determined to finish

I’ve made a spinner on an app to generate something for me to work on and I’m going to try and stick to it until I have gotten through everything

So I was wondering what project have you been working on for the longest (that possibly drives you insane if you’re anything like me :joy:) ?

mine would be a double garter stitch knitted scarf that is 50 stitches wide and the person I’m making it for wants it to be 5ft :tired_face:

I made a picture blanket of myself and my Jerry. I still need to weave in the ends. Using it for a wall hanging now instead of a blanket, so no hurry I guess. :woman_shrugging:

If you’re asking for ones I’ve been actively working on, then I started my Aura Blanket around New Year’s 2025! If you count abandoned WIPs… then… probably a messenger bag from over 2 years ago.

i have 74; and the one thats the longest is probably 10 years ago. A crochet blanket with variegated Soft yarn by Red Heart
