I’m biased because this is my side hustle (both finished items and patterns on Ribblr) but something tiny, stuffed with a good smelling herb like lavender, cinnamon, or or all spice is a great last minute gift idea.

I made a lacey bookmark for my mom, and she loved it! They’re pretty quick to make, just chain the length you want, sc back along a few rows, then do shell stitches around.
For mine, I use aunt Lydia’s crochet thread & a 2-3 mm hook

You could do a rear-view mirror hanger for her car and like @suettle mentioned add a fragrance to it. Dollar Tree sells the jars of them.
I bought the little jars and about 10 different fragrances so that they could be changed out. If you take the screw out of the jar it will allow the smell to escape very slowly.
