Good Quality Yarn Brands?

I NEED to know good yarn brands! I am currently stuck with the Red Heart brand ever since my Joanne’s closed down because Walmart is the closest thing to my house. Can somebody tell me a good yarn brand that doesn’t cost a fortune?

I’ve heard lots of good things about Hobbii! I haven’t personally tried their yarn because I’m not patient enough to wait for shipping lol

Oh yes lol. The stage of waiting for items to ship makes me so anxious! I will definitely look into this brand! Thank you!

The Wal-Mart brand, mainstay isn’t bad. I like it way better than the red heart

They must’ve either accidentally attached the comment to the wrong post or your post was originally accidentally in the testing space and someone moved it to the right place later.

anywho back to you question, it kinda depends on how much you can spend on the yarn at a single time (so you can get free shipping) or how much for shipping you are willing to spend.

Most of Michael’s deals are sucky online because buy 2 get 1 50% off is only 25% off each and you must buy 2 to get the deal and buy 2 get 1 free is about 30-33% off each which is not a special deal Micheal’s deals are best for going in store and looking for the Clarence yarn (carron cakes are frequently on clearance but unmarked so you have to go to self check out to scan each color way individually and find out which ones are on sale only get one of each cake and or color way for the price check for which aren’t to get the $5 cake sales, and then once you know the sale ones you put the not on sale ones back grab how much of what you need/wanted of the sale colorways you liked and check out regularly or self if you prefer that last part can be however you prefer),

hobby lobby runs a regular 30% off every other week on all yarn (online too $50 spend for free shipping), and around the beginning of summer time hobby lobby runs in store yarn Clarence’s for lower then that.

yarnspirations,

I’ve heard lots of good stuff about Hobbii,

marry maxim,

premiere yarns (you can even check some of those in person at a dollar tree sometimes),

lion brand (but only certain yarns, the ice cream line is gonna be similar low quality to super saver it splits a lot, but it takes a little longer then super saver to get scratchy for any acrylic),

Bernatt yarn,

& DMC is good for embroidery thread yarn and floss, (and I can add new ones as I remember),

Also Amazon sells some brands from some of the stores mentioned above too but usually at a higher price, however if you make a yarn list on amazon you can get alerts for when those go on sale, and sometimes the amazon sale is regular store prices and sometimes is better either way if you have prime it’ll be free shipping and fast, just be careful with Amazon yarn and stick to brands you trust on there like the ones in stores and such.

It’s okay! I believe there were some complications with my post, so it wasn’t entirely your fault there!

Wow! Thank you! I will look into a few of these. Somebody mentioned Hobii to me, and I took a look at their site. It seemed really good, so I will likely try that one out!

Anything from small/local shops will probably be the best quality

The brand Premier has LOTS of types of yarns. I use Chanel and worsted yarn.
