Yea, undiagnosed is pretty hard for if u need to have special help for things at school, or finding a job.
I hope this helps you know you aren’t alone tho, and that I have a gc now of 9 or 10 ppl helping to spread awareness through crafting! We have amazing ideas so far, and once I figure it out I will be holding a poll for ppl to vote on what we should make for this. ^^

Sometimes primary care doctors will work with you on getting accommodations you need when you’re undiagnosed. I was scared to even ask, but my doctor didn’t even bat an eye and got me approved for significant accommodations (my employer floundered proving them 
then blamed me for needing them and I couldn’t sue them because it was contract work but ANYway-as this flag correctly points out, we deal with so much discrimination that’s swept under the rug it’s crazy). Anyway, I’m finally diagnosed and still getting treated similarly from employers-so really just get what you need whatever way you can because sometimes you just can’t win either way

That’s sounds really hard. I hate that ppl have to be rude even when its proven that we have something. 
Its saddening how ppl cannot find it in themselves to be kind and happy.
And ofc! I love helping ppl, even if its just a simple post about it. Anything helps ^^

Hey, just wanted to thank you for this post. It inspired me to finally post my crochet Service Dog pattern. I don’t know how well it will be received (I just posted a tester call for it) but the project is near and dear to my heart and if it helps even bring a little bit of awareness and helps honor this working dogs and those who make is possible then it will be worth it. I myself am getting trained to be a Service Dog trainer so this pattern means a lot to me. Thank you for giving me encouragement to post it !

I love that my post inspired you. Your service dog looks amazing! Im sure ppl will love it. Especially if they know someone who has one or has one themselves. No matter how small or large the item is, any awareness is worth it. Tysm for sharing. ^^
