Hat icon thing

So recently I noticed there’s like a hat icon thing on my profile when like I comment and stuff. I’ve also noticed a ton more people have it as well? What is it​:sweat_smile:

I’m only newish here but you get badges ( the hats etc ) the more active you are .. as in posting ,testing , comments etc

I’m sure others will be able to explain what they all mean

The hat that you have on your profile means that you have become a Member of the community and ‘graduated’ from being a New User. The cowboy hat, which you might see other people’s profile have means that they are a Regular - or have visited and been active in the community.

There are certain requirements for being a Regular but I don’t know them off the top of my head :sweat_smile:

There are 4 community ‘levels’ (basic user, member, regular, and leader), so you have the graduation hat symbol, meaning you have graduated from a basic user to member!

Member requirements: (meaning you fulfilled these so you get that badge)

- Member

You’ll be promoted to a Member level after you have visited and contributed more to the community.
By reaching a Member level you are granted additional abilities.
For example - you can create group personal messages, start your own personal space, and like up to 450 posts per day.
You will get a bronze badge when you reach a Member level as well as a special graduation hat avatar flair. This will show next to your avatar when you post!

Become a Member by:

  • Visiting at least 15 days (not sequentially)
  • Giving at least 10 likes/reactions
  • Receiving at least 5 likes/reactions
  • Replying to at least 3 different topics
  • Entering at least 20 topics
  • Reading at least 100 posts
  • Spending a total of 60 minutes reading posts

You have the “Member” hat

A regular will have a “Cow boy” hat

A leader Will have a “Magic witch” hat
