Hello lovely Ribbot army! Not what I said i was going to post but we have recently began puppysitti g for these two rescue pups who need a furever home. I at first boycotted them and am now in love with both. My dad wants the girl. Most my siblings want the girl. Just me and my stepmom want the boy. I now want to try to convince for both, best of all worlds right? My dads points are: Ollie might be more agressive with another male around. Ollie is our current pittie. I honestly dont think Juneau would let that happen sooooo. Second point litters dont bond as well with their humans BUTTTT I feel bad separating them as we assume they were dumped. They were found under a dumpster and always are snuggled together. They love to play together and we cant separate that </3. I named the male (one with grey two splotches on face) Blu and the female was named Remi la Roux
That sounds like a good idea cos! I would bring up the fact that it wouldn’t be good to seperate them as they have always been together, and that your current dog might be a lot less aggressive if there is both a male and a female puppy around (as the more puppies there are, the more likely that your current dog wouldn’t cast out one individual as the “weakling”).
Both of them are really cute! I hope all goes well for you!! :)!
idk. i have a girl dog, so i gess i tened to side there, but i agree you cant separate them! ik this sounds bad but i just begged for my dog in everything(mom “i love you good night” me " enough to get a dog?" you get the picture!) maybe try that or saying youll get a job to help pay for one of them! or do extra chores. also try to look around at the benifits of 2 dogs
Tell them that if they miss you while ur out of the house, they all have each other! That’s what we did for my dog Moki cus he has separation anxiety soooo we got EVIE!!! Processing: IMG_4710.jpeg…
Here’s some pictures! :]
i dont think 2 males and 1 female is bad i also have 2 males and 1 female but somethimes they fight but not only the males fight with eachother but the female and male fight eachother too
idk if this makes sence
OKAY SO I MAY HAVE CONVINCED THEM?? We have someone keeping Bloo for two days but she said there us a 95% chance she wont keep him (she better not ) and then we might keep him
Also, in all seriousness if you have an aggressive dog then I wouldn’t try to get another dog. Sage was a bit territorial and still was before we put her down and it causes a lot of problems. Especially with food and water bowls. I wouldn’t recommend it, because if the dog attacks the other you may have to put the dog down.
I wrote a five paragraph persuasive essay It mostly worked though I think. And me sobbing my eyes out when I found out Bloo wasn’t in the kennel anymore
None of my dogs are aggressive. In fact Ollie is running away from the puppies (mostly because Juneau is being a protective mother ESPECIALLY after Bloo was taken away). Ollie is kinda the aloof 1950s dad. We would mostly have to worry about Bloo until he is fixed but even then Juneau would sort things out because she is definitely the pack leader
He is at someone’s house for two days for a “sleepover” where they meet him and decide if they want to keep him but the person said there is a 95% chance she WONT keep him. If she doesn’t he is coming back to us then we will decide what to do after. (hopefully keep him) I feel so bad for Juneau because she has such a strong maternal instinct when she found out Bloo wasn’t in the crate anymore she would not stop searching for him. She was outside when my dad gave him to my stepmom to take to the persons house.
