Help me there is a kid who like likes me, but I just think of him as a friend. What do I do???

story of my life. everytime that happens I js say ”I didn’t think we were going in that direction, I don’t really want to change the friend relationship and if you want to then maybe we shouldn’t be friends” ik that sounds a little mean but its better than leading him on

you can say you love him as a friend! This has happened to me before, we’re still friends though

if he’s confessed to you, just try to let him down gently - say you don’t like him in the same way, but you do like him as a person + friend, and you hope y’all can stay friends.
if he hasn’t said anything… either just pretend it’s not happening and try not to give off signs of like-liking him, or confront him about it if his behavior due to liking you is bothersome, etc.

This was two weeks ago so its not as relavant now but definitely treat him like normal! If he starts making advances dont be afraid to set boundaries or say “hey that comment you made felt not platonic” or something if you feel uncomfortable ever! Boundaries are important!!

I was finally able to block him, and my friend overheard him saying he wishes I was his girlfriend…
Now I’m glad I’m being public schooled next year…
