hey all 
I’ve recently been working on this pattern for a hat and the stitches just aren’t tight/close enough for me, not matter how much I increase my tension, or do whatever I can think of to make it tighter. also, is I figured out a way to do this, how would I write it? any help appreciated
(note: I know I disappeared….we don’t talk about it)
try a smaller hook
I’m using my smallest possible for the yarn, its a worsted yarn and the hook is 1.5mm but there’s still crazy holes between the stitches
Maybe you could put a liner in it? Are you doing SC?
it’s sc with every other row hdc. a liner is a good idea actually
