I started the Ribblr sweater I’m working on one month ago. It’ll likely take me another 2 months or so to finish…(it’s lots of smallish granny squares).
Today is my 70th bd.
That literally means that I will have worked on the sweater I’m working on now during literally 2 different decades of my life. I worked on it during my 60s and starting tomorrow I’ll be working on it during my 70s. LOL
When I realized this it felt so strange to think of. That’s gotta be rare that you work on the same item during two different decades of your life.

Thank you! Although today (Monday) is my bd, we did go out Saturday night and had a blast.
To a restaurant with a live band. There were pretty amazing too.
My friend happened to know the singer who spent some time with us during his break. Super nice guy too and so talented. Just such great 
and it’s always just such a warm place there.
And of course I got sung Happy Birthday to by the band and the whole restaurant. Then later out for ice cream, cause why not? LOL

That sounds amazing!! Knowing a famous person is always really fun. Tbh I dont like it when ppl announce its my Bday in a restaurant cause it freaks me out, but if u like it then that’s great! Lol

Glad you had a wonderful time out celebrating. 
Thank you, on both counts.
So far, after a bit over a month I am now this far:
I still have to crochet the last row there horizontally.
Then make a bunch more squares, add on 2-3 more rows, crochet the vertical seams, and around the edges.
And when all that is done, I’ll have the back finished.
THEN I need to do it all over again to make the front, and then the sleeves. And then hopefully make a trim that I want to make at the bottom of the sleeves and bottom border.
Time consuming with a lot of blocking in between, but I’m so happy with it. And it’s in a nice bamboo yarn so I hope to have it done by the hot days of summer.,
