Hi im new here and just wanting to try making a post so my question is:
what is your favorite hook size and why?
Mine is 2.5 because i like crocheting tightly and the end result usually looks quite neet

3,5mm or 4mm for acrylic yarn and 6mm for velvet yarn

thanks for making your post! My current favorite is 3.25mm bc it’s the largest size that will go through a pony bead for making fidgets!
I custom ordered some from a wood carver in India and they are supposed to be delivered today! 
I’m nervous and excited to see how they turned out

I might be a little weird for this, but I don’t like using small hooks. I have big hands so it’s hard for me. I like to use 5.5-18mm best. I like my yarns big and chunky.

Oh yeah i didn’t think of different yarns when i use thiker acrylic then ill use a 4mm or 4.5mm

I …used to be a bit aggressive while crocheting and i broke at least two
..hehe…but now i use hooks with handles and I’ve chilled out a bit
