Homespun in Harvest ; deadstock yarn

So i got a 4 pack of lion brand Homespun yarn in the colorway harvest from the thrift store and i dont think i have enough! And apparently its a discontinued color. Does anybody know of a place that still sells it or maybe you have a skein in your stash i could talk you out of lol honestly im desperate to finish my sweater

Any leads would be great!

Or if anybody knows of a similar yarn maybe?

a well-rated seller on ebay seems to have a couple of skeins for sale! the shipping price relative to the yarn is pretty high, though, and they don’t accept returns

postmark or etsy may be some other good places to look although i wasn’t able to find anything immediately

How many skeins do you need? I haven’t checked yet But I think I may have used some once, may have some left. Where are you located? Approximately, for shipping.

I hope you find what you need! When I’m searching for something Facebook Marketplace tends to be surprisingly good; maybe give it a search there?

This is a cool website to find close alternatives.

Have you tried looking in peoples stashes in Ravelry?

I made a long winter scarf out of Homespun once. It can be tricky to work with. (Recommendation: use an inline hook if you don’t already.) But it’s worth it… It’s so COZY!!!

Good luck finding more!

Mad when you can’t find your favorite hook!

I tried to post a link to those for sale or trade for this colorway on Ravelry but Ribblr posted that the post was pending mod approval so I guess they thought it was spam. Opted to delete it instead

Here is a topic where we talked about hook types. Somewhere in there is a picture showing the difference.
