How do yall store your yarn?

How do yall store your yarn? I store mine in yarn cakes and yarn balls when I dont have enough to wind them.

My mom got me a cake winder a while ago and I am in love! You also just reminded me that I came downstairs to wind up yarn so I could clean my room, not be on Ribblr!:yellow_heart:

balls, skeins, cakes, tangled messes. whatever form i recieve it in it just get chucked on my shwlf lmao

I normally just leave them how I bought them. And normally they come and rolls. I’ve only bought in two kinds of urine that come in cakes. When they get so low on the yarn and I roll them up into balls. So I’m kind of all over the place with it I guess.

At this point it’s all just sort of crammed in wherever and however it will fit. I’m really interested in the cake winders though. That’s the dream

It just depends if I have time to wind them by hand.if not then I usually leave them in skeins!
