So what about when you complete a test but the owner of the pattern never marks it completed or gifts the pattern? I donât think testers should be penalized for a creator no longer responding.
Also where can we see our %?

Well, as long as you donât abort it yourself by hitting the little x on the pattern it shouldnât count against you, but it will stay in your testing patterns area.
When a designer isnât gifting the pattern, I kindly send a request to them to do so. (Just make sure you wait till after the due date as many designers wait till then to gift it to everyone.)
If that doesnât work, maybe message @ribblr with the specific pattern and designer and a link to your complete journalâŚ
@Ribblr, can you help the tester out in this situation?
Yeah usually reminding them politely works, but when it doesnât, thereâs not much to do about it. And maybe Iâm wrong and it wouldnât count against you, but my understanding was that it would count against you since itâs a test you were approved for but supposedly havenât finished since it hasnât been marked complete.

fyi, tagging ribblr twice isnât a good idea (since they get lots of notifications) :]
Oh, I thought they only got tagged once per response, and I wanted them to know specifically what I was asking them to respond to.
Guess I didnât have the ability to check if theyâd get 2 notifications if I referred to them twice. Iâll take your word for it and learn something new. Thx
not sure, but i think you can js replace one of the tags with ribblr without the @. wait lemme try to tag you twice- @WalktoCrochet

Thatâs good to know. I was asking about this too as Iâve got two patterns left from unresponsive designers, one which says its overdue by several days (though isnt, they just set the date wrong and Iâve completed it).
I think both of mine were where designers didnât understand how testing worked on Ribblr as they both didnât create group chats.
It stresses me out having one saying its overdue every time I open my testing area, but I wonât delete it if leaving it there means my tester score wonât go down!
got it :] and lolll np
