How many sales do you get?

For those of you with stripe:
How many sales do you get? Do you get one every day? A couple a week? Never?
I’m seriously not sure if Ribblr is big enough, and some people told me they never had sales so they made their patterns free. BUT then some people said that they have a few sales a day, so then I got all motivated and wrote a bunch of patterns. PLEASE tell me, i’m working on lots of patterns, but i’m not sure if it is even worth making them paid.
 Thank you

Yes! this was a question I was going to ask  and for those of you who do sell lots of patterns, what sells best?

I’m guessing amigurumi since that is the most popular right now.

Yeah, but what I meant was what style of amigurumi? And do patterns for larger plushies sell better? Smaller plushies?

I have 18 sales total. Traffic varies. Around Black Friday I more than doubled my sales. Before then, I sold a pattern about every other week. I feel like amigurumi sells best, and size doesn’t matter, I think it’s more about the quality. Those with more journals sell better. Also, making a pattern free for followers for a day and then making it paid is a great strategy and makes me feel less guilty about making my patterns paid. Having a mix of paid and free works well because then people can get your free ones and use the quality of that to judge whether or not they should buy one. I also think having a lot of followers helps because then people think you’re reputable. Also, I’ve only been selling since the end of august, so it takes time to get a lot of sales. Sorry for the long answer lol. Hope this helps

Yikes that’s rough.
Also you shouldn’t feel guilty, it’s your business!

I know but I love ribblr and don’t want to make y’all pay. But patterns take time and I need money. Making it free for a day is just a personal compromise for me :joy:

I haven’t done anything sale wise as I’m just starting to make patterns myself but Stripe was such a struggle to where I gave up trying to get it. You might have luck with it, so definitely give it a shot if you can

Really? My Spanish teacher uses stripe and she says it is SUPER easy!

Although Ribblr only using Stripe is definitely scaring people away, they seriously need to have more payment options.

It kept telling me to verify through my email I did it like three times and it still wouldn’t work. Maybe I was messing up who knows. I wouldn’t say not to do it because I struggle do definitely if you want to do that go for it! Yeah I’m hoping in the future that they will add more payment methods as I have actually messaged the ribblr team about it.

Oh maybe I should too

Yeah it wouldn’t hurt to have more voices, they said that there were aware that some users weren’t able to use Stripe so maybe they will add others
