I have this dragon i crocheted does anyone know how much i can sell it for??
oooh its super cuteee!
I would say it depends on how long it took and the materials you used. Theres many posts of people recommending a formula based on the time it takes and other factors!
Here’s a link to a post where some people recommended how they price their items! Hope this helps and good luck with selling it! ![]()
I moved this to marketing help bc suggestions is for suggestions on the Ribblr platform itself. ![]()

I don’t know how long this took you to crochet, but I sold a dragon that looks similarly sized for I believe $50 CAD. It took me 1h and 45 mins, so I calculated minimum wage ($15/h where I live), which added up to $26.25, then I added an estimated material cost of like, $4, making the total $30.25. I multiplied the total by 1.65, to add business profit, so it totalled approximately $50.
Depending on the item, I might lower or raise the profit amount, if I see that it could be sold for higher or not. I honestly think handmade work, especially the kind that can’t be machine produced like crochet, should not go for merely minimum wage. But that is how I started. The main thing is to make sure you value your time, and to account for cost. Profit matters to keep the business going as well, but you can play around with it as well.
