I take mine outside and use a setting on my phone camera that blurs the background

I think your backgrounds are really cute! I usually just go outside in my garden and take pics there when the sun is out. Overall, any place with a plain/cute background and good lighting works:)

Yes the sun definitely has to be shining!

That they are just gonna be working on some areas of the ribblr community on those days so it may not work as smoothly while they are working on it so they are letting you know in case you have issues you know why!

I have the same problem… I think they Photoshop the photos somehow? I think going outside is a good idea, or for example have a specific background, maybe a wall. I actually like your backgrounds! Mine are much worse , I dunno how to take clear pics, I have an old phone

(And congrats on 300 followers ;)

Natural lighting and simple backgrounds! I usually go in my backyard and choose a good bush, tree, or section of fence.

Me personally I draw the wonky outline and just take a photo behind a plant ( the backround is blurred)

honestly I take all my pics outside or by this beautiful window which I use a lot as well but you could invest in a light box (I forget what they’re called) but basically you can place your creation in it and it provides good lighting and you can change the background I personally don’t have one but they seem cool

you could also get a ring light which come in many different sizes if you want to take photos indoors

I take my recent makes with me on my walks with my toddler. Then, I snap a couple of photos while we’re out and about.

Heh my settings are a bit more primitive… I’ll send some (let’s call them behind the scenes) pics…
I usually take a bed sheet in some colour, mostly white, but also others if I feel like it, throw it over a chair, sometimes I add a pillow in-between to add some volumes, ant then you can just see me walking around the house with my phone, a chair with a tablecloth, and balancing a crochet piece on the tips of my fingers, lol…

pics, I tried to pick the ones I would otherwise discard, that was and is my setup šŸ˜…

I like to expiriment and take lots in different places. My most favourite BY FAR is outside (I have a field that connects to my backyard and it works super well!) or in a room with LOTS of windows. My living room is really bright and open, and it works nicely as well. The background should be nuetral and not super busy, and if its outside I like to have it blurred, but inside ill use a blanket as a background and then I dont blur it.
Try lots of different angles, lighting, locations, etc. and you ight stumble across one that you LOVE!

Mostly I take pics sometimes outside depending on the weather like sunny. I especially love using natural lighting. But for me when the weathers gets colder I have this pic box thingy I bought I think in Temu . Hope that helps!:growing_heart::growing_heart:

My photos aren’t the best but I go outside typically late afternoon I’ve found provides the best lighting and I take the pictures in front of a bush

I always use a nature or brick as background because its nice contrast and isnt bland. Also make sure the object is ā€œfarā€ away from the background.

Sadly I live in an area with a ton of rain and dark skies so natural lighting and outdoor shots are hard for me. I got a lightbox but it’s a pain to set up so often times I just use a shelf in my dining room. I have been using photo room to blur the background or to replace it with something with a similar theme to the plush, but I’m not a photographer by any means :joy::joy: I honestly wish I still had some of them so I could retake some photos but most of my stuff leaves my house immediately so that’s impossible. I find photoroom helps at least make them look a bit better when I can’t retake photos
