I can't Enable My chat/ private messages

I can’t seem to access/ contact/ private message my friends over Ribblr, I can post at them but not message them. they also have a chat function on their homepage but I don’t . I am only new on this website and have no idea how to fix it. I am not a shop owner and I think that is the only difference between our accounts, Please help!!!

OK, So it turns out to get the Chat function on your new account you have to read a couple of other posts, for about 15 minutes and then your’e awarded a Badge and some additional functions. Thanks for everything xxxxx

Thanks :heart:I’d recommend taking the users tutorials, you can earn some of the badges that way PM Ribbot I think that’s how to have it start the tutorial

@tygger428 I didn’t see anything about this issue, but my chat doesn’t work because the button at the top isn’t there, the text bubble one, it’s just gone.

there was a change to ribblr, i believe. several people have had this issue. there are new settings - you have to be a member to access chat now… basic users CANNOT access chat. this is why the chat button disappeared. :(

i think it’s bc of issues like misuse or spamming?? i’m not sure.

I don’t use the chat except to login once in a while to see what’s going on in there. But evidently someone got bullied in there and either took a break from Ribblr for a while or opted to delete their account entirely.
