Guys you know how when you were a beginner yarn shopping you didn’t know what yarn to buy, me too… and thats how i ended up with:
This random yarn. The blue, green, and yellow are #5 yarn but the green(dark) and the purple are blanket #6 yarn, (hard to use), lastly the black and the brown are size 7 jumbo yarn.
I need ideas for this yarn + pattern recommendations (only free pls) So can yall help me?

This is a pattern I tested a while ago. But you can pretty much use any yarn types for this and make them in any color. You just need to make sure you use the correct hook size.

The yellow and the light green would work for my platypus pattern!

With those colors, my first thought was flower garlands!
There are a few different flower and leaf patterns on here you could try, or you can freehand your own (I think a wisteria vine with the purple would be really pretty personally).
They’re a great way to add some extra cuteness to your space!

I would but the brown is a #7 yarn and the green is a #5 yarn

Then you could use blue and green. I think when it comes to turtles you could use any random colour combinations
