hey! Here’s a late welcome to ribblr
We have chats where you can ask questions like this! It should be at the top right corner of your screen, next to your pfp. In the future, it would be wonderful if you used those instead of making a topic![]()
While I agree with @PkCrochet that chats are great for asking advice, I do think this topic could be an interesting one to discuss on a “Personal Spaces” topic. I hope others will chime in on their preferences or suggestions.
Where you decide to craft has so many factors that come into play.
My answer is, if it is feasible to be outside crocheting, pick outside!
By “feasible” I mean not raining, or in poor air quality, or high wind, or crazy noisy. Also, make sure where you are in public is a safe place.
Some awesome benefits to crocheting outside:
I mean it’s ultimately your decision but I love indoor crocheting under my blanket in bed cuz it’s so cozy
I say outside![]()
Unless it’s winter
then I would be inside wrapped up it a CROCHETED blanket and drinking hot coco ![]()

Hello! From my experience in this crochet world I’ve realized that even the smallest or easiest project requires quite a long time to finish. Having said that, I begin crochetting in my bedroom, then I go to the kitchen, the garden, etc. Changing spaces from time to time is helpful, it clears your mind ![]()
As @PkCrochet said, this is not the correct place for asking these sorts of casual questions. Please utilise the General Chat for this sort of thing. Many thanks. ![]()
My ideal spot for crocheting is picture this with me:
Times Square. The lights glaring at you, the sound of bustling ppl. Magic. (We dont talk about the smell)
I am a city girl at heart, but alas, I am forced to dwell in the middle of nowhere so inside.
I love going outside as much as possible
just be prepared for people to ask you about your work lol (happens if you’re in a park or something more than you’d think!).
