I recently started spinning yarn, and I realized I haven’t seen much discussion about it on Ribblr. Does anyone else on here spin yarn/ are you looking into starting?

Do you mean with a yarn winder? I have a yarn winder and like to rewind messy yarn skeins I buy.

I got my fiber from my local yarn store!
It was pretty cheap ($12 for 4oz)
That’s also where I got my drop spindle ($25)
I don’t have a wheel yet because most go for $300+, but I saw this really cool diy kit for $220 that seems really nice so I might get that!
There’s a lot of sellers on Etsy that sell absolutely stunning roving. They also sell wheels on there

Yes! I’ve dabbled in spinning with a drop spindle, paddle spinner, and a spinning wheel and would love to get back into it!

There’s lots of ways! I’d say getting a drop spindle is definitely the cheapest lol

I have a drop spindle but none of the other materials. I want to learn how to make my own yarn so i can make bags and stuff, but idk how to do ot.
