Juggling ball weight

so this is kinda random but I am working on juggling balls for my bro but have come to an unexpected problem… nothing is heavy enough to fill them with… so basically I have this big of a ball

I’m a teen girl for reference
But I tried beans and popcorn (both dried), I would try lentils but I don’t have them currently, the beans and popcorn were both about 80 grams when I measure how much I would approximately be able to fit in the ball but I need about 120g, so what do I use? Because they can’t be too big or sharp so I’m lost, help me please!! :pray:t4:

Maybe a small heavy ball that’s wrapped in cotton or something

Is it heavier than beans?

That’s smart but what would be that small and heavy? Coins? That seems really wrong

I’m pretty sure you can find something on Amazon and then wrap it

I would but my bro wanted them like tomorrow

Depends on the beans I guess?

I had just like black dried beans

I wonder if a ball of clay would be heavy

Ooh!! That would be great as long as you have the right kind of clay, some are definitely lighter than others

Do you think that like air dry clay would work? That’s all I have

You could make two tests
Make a ball of clay with like a rock in the middle of it and a ball of clay without any additions and just see if you like the weight and choose the one you like better

Ooooo the rock is smart! Cause it would have like cushion around it ok I’ll try some stuff as soon as I’m not as lazy and will get out of bed

Uh according to ChatGPT-

  1. Metal Beads: These are commonly used in crafting for weight, and they can be placed inside amigurumi to give them a more substantial feel without being too bulky.
  2. Steel Shots: These small steel pellets are often used in crafting and can add a good amount of weight to your amigurumi while maintaining a smooth texture.
  3. Poly pellets: While lighter than metal options, poly pellets are still heavier than regular stuffing and are used to give a weighted feel. They’re commonly used in weighted plush toys.
  4. Rice: Although not as heavy as some metals, rice can be heavier than beans and popcorn. It’s also a cost-effective option.
  5. Sand: If you’re looking for a fine, heavier stuffing option, sand can be used. However, it may require some kind of pouch or fabric barrier to keep it from spilling out.
Make sure to use a sturdy yarn and a tight stitch to ensure nothing leaks out.

I would totally use sand but I would have to buy it because I live right next to a beach but it’s illegal to take the sand, thanks for all of that tho!!
