Laptop recommendations?

Hello lovely ribbot army <33
As the title says I need laptop recommendations please :folded_hands::folded_hands: I have a technical endless budget (but keep it reasonable)(also I have beef with macbooks) I realllyyyy want a laptop to play sims and silly little steam games, learn how to code and 3D model, and goof off on it but I will mostly spend my time researching, photo editing, completing school work, and writing on it. Any suggestions are helpful and greatly appreciated <33

Though you have an ā€œendlessā€ budget what would your ideal budget be

Its alright! A mac book probably wouldn’t work for what I need anyways. My mom has one and I sorta hate it-

Anything that runs Windows OS! Chrome OS isn’t bad (I’ve had a Chromebook for years), just insanely finicky. It’s probably not bad for online games or Steam, but from my experience things like art/animation software isn’t great. (example: I believe Krita is the only compatible software for a Chromebook that’s free)
Windows OS is the way to go, since you can still use things like Google Docs/Sheets/Slides/etc. Hope that helps~!

Don’t get a Chromebook if you have an ā€˜endless budget’. I’d recommend a Microsoft surface. I got one recently for about Ā£300 and it’s rlly good. But I got one of the smaller models and it can’t run games very well so keep that in mind.

I picked up my msi raider from Costco a few years ago on sale. I love it. They don’t carry my model anymore as it’s outdated but if you can find an msi gaming laptop within your budget, I highly recommend. My husband loved his acer predator too until it went kaput while on mission. We replaced it with another model of msi that’s not sold anymore

ok, so i am not an expert, but i know the basics.

here in brazil, people really like the dell inspiron 15 because it is relatively cheap and it is decent

idk what you plan on doing, but if it’s a mostly internet, office work, school projects, i think it’s pretty good.

what you need is at least an intel i5 (the higher the gen the better), 8gb of ram is enough for internet and work, but 16 is the minimum in a lot of games, so the higher the better, but since you said ā€œlimitlessā€ budget, ig you get the i7 version, i think it would be better if you plan on gaming

now, i am not sure if the graphics card is good, but i doubt you woild try to play momster hunter wilds or something like that, so…

i will ask a friend that knows about gpu more than i do and get back to you to let you know if it’s worth it.

Thank youu!! I said in the post what I plan on doing lol but I am currently looking at two HP computers one is Ryzen one is Intel. Both are 7. Whats the difference??

so, if they are from the same generation, they are basically the same. a ryzen 7 and an intel i7 are equivalent. i mean, one can be a little bit better, but as far as i know, the difference is minimal
