Okay, so a little while back I discovered
loomigurumi aka, amigurumi but with rubber bands. Is there anyone else who does loomigurumi and has tips? Or patterns? I think they’re soooo cuteeee!!!

OMG SO CUTE!!! How do you make this? Like with using rubber bands as yarn or hand crocheting it together? I wanna try this too!

I used to do this! I can’t remember the YouTuber’s name, but they had tutorials on YouTube or they would put the written pattern in the description.

You use a rubber band for each stitch! You insert your hook through the stitch you want to make, pull a rubber band through (but not all the way), then pick the back half of the rubber band on your hook that wasn’t pulled through all the way. Then pull the loop closest to the hook through the other two loops (a single crochet). It’s hard to explain with words, so here’s a picture I stole from the internet 
The leftmost loop is the one you pull through the other two

My only concern is that those rubber bands get brittle and break over time. So, cute while it lasts. It also looks like it would be fun to do.

They do, if it’s a cheap brand, but the actual Rainbow Loom brand ones don’t, I have stuff I made 4+ years ago that are still good

Thank you yep I follow tutorials on YouTube, and if you’re having trouble with dec try watching a video, YouTube is your best friend when you do loomigurumi lol
