Do you want me to tag that people that said they wanted to join? :)
I didnāt even think to to do that ; brain def not braining today. Iām just periodically checking ribblr during work breaks, so that would be fantastic and super helpful if you donāt mind!

ty for the tag^^
this is waay to hard then again it cold just be my inability to make decisionsā¦
This is gonna take some time for me to decide!
also would the CAL be so that in one week, we would have to finish round X to X, and continue like that? or would it just be like testing, where you have to complete the whole pattern by the deadline but you can start whenever? Iām new to CALs :D
Ofc! Tysm for the tagg Dania!š©µ
I voted! Ty for the tag
I think it would be just us crocheting along! Maybe the one with rows you said? Idk, Iāve also never parcipiated in one.
Voted thank you for the tag!!
I would be interested in doing this however I feel I need to get a little more familiar with using this everyday. Definately would participate if it was a thing every month!
Thank you so much for wrangling those names for me, Dania; I appreciate it!

Iām super indecisive, too, thatās why Iām making yāall decide
Also great question! So, every CAL is different and often depends on the pattern or theme or what have you!
For us, I think it will depend on the pattern and whether the group thinks they would prefer a more structured or freeflowing type of CAL.
As an example: with a blanket, having those goalposts, so to speak, is a little more challenging than with perhaps a cardigan where there might be more distinct sections which could be split up into weekly chunks (hope Iām making sense).
To get everyoneās feet wet (and because I was a bit last minute with the conception of this CAL) I thought it might be better to have it more just like testing where we check in as often or as little as we want for this first go. I also donāt want to inadvertently stress anyone out about meeting a deadline (however soft that deadline
may be), especially with so little time to prepare. However if people would like little mini goals for the weeks Iām happy to provide some to keep us on task and motivated once we establish the pattern we are working on! Perhaps Iāll let the group weigh in on that, as well. ^.^
I understand that definitely and good call! Happy to have another interested I am hoping to be able to host one every other month (every month would be awesome, but not sure if I can commit) or at least a few times a year, and ofc Iām sure others will host them, too (like the Spring Amigurumi one from sarahmakinthangs and friends coming in April), so be sure to check into the community periodically!
Of course!!
done voting
That was tough to choose but I voted. Thanks for tagging me. I had a long day at work and may have missed it.
I think just about everyone tagged voted, but wanted to send out one last friendly little blast/reminder (& in case anyone new wants to join) to get those votes in, as the project poll will close in about 10 hrs. Thank you all so much for embracing this little event!
I feel like the mini-goal system is such a good idea. Also, might I say, for the relatively short time Iāve known you, you seem like one of the kindest (If not the most) people on here. You give everyone such thorough replies and are so sweet! There are a lot of people who think they can be as rude as they want since theyāre āanonymousā online, but youāre not at all like that. Thank you so much for being here on Ribblr- you really brighten my day!
I would love to be apart of the crochet along if possible I think this is a lovely idea and would keep me accountable for actually finishing a bigger project.
