What instrument or thing do u do in marching band if if u don’t do band what would u wish to play? Such a color guard aka flag people

I wish that I could play instruments, but I’ve never gotten the chance. if I did ever try or attempt, it would probably be flute? I tried it a LONG time ago in like 3rd grade but the music teacher got fired so I couldn’t continue
