Hey guys!!! So I’m doing my 2nd market in November, I’m not quite sure what to make. My best seller at my last market were definitely medium ghosts. But This market is in November so I won’t be making any halloween plushies. I mostly do amigurumi, I do classic crochet too and occasionally, tapestry. But I’d Like to know yalls best sellers! I’m hoping I’ll make a little more profit than my last market. I made just under 70$ at my last market (which isnt bad!!! I’m not complaining! I just didn’t make enough to profit good!) but put in 125$. I’m not buying a lot for this market besides a table cloth and a little yarn. So let me know best sellers!!!
My best sellers were axolotls, scrunchies and pocket frogs. The scrunchies were my pattern, the axolotls by crochetbygenna and the pocket frogs by lecromi.
Good luck!
Definitely make some holiday things! Christmas, Hanukkah, whatever you celebrate. I also recommend having a $5 bin! My bestsellers are usually cats and dragons, but it can vary.
I actually sold a dragon to someone! I had a 5 dollar bin, I think I sold maybe 2 items out of it. I think I can defiantly readjust pricing. I wasn’t trying to cut myself off, while also trying to make a profit. I might do a Three dollar bin, but run a special for a “Buy two for 10$” I’m in a more souther part if my state, so I think all things farm animals are essential!
Ooo! I’ll have to look into those patterns! I didn’t make too many things for my first market, but for my second one I want to have lots of variety.
Wow, $5 bin items are my most popular! But it really does depend on where you are.
Personally I’d say still do a couple Halloween themed things, because lots of us love it and are eager to pick up cute stuff whenever, especially when there’s always next year to decorate for! Just, not tons. heh.
The new seasonally themed stuff would be good to stock up on - turkeys, dreidels, trees, presents, santas/critters with santa hats, critters with winter hats/scarves, penguins, snow/cold-related things, etc.
I heard from someone just recently that bees, in various sizes, were their huge seller recently. Also agreed that axolotls are very “in” rn. Cats & dogs are always beloved.
Good luck!
Loaf cats were a HUGE hit at my last market! After I sold out many people came back asking if I still had any. They are also super easy to whip up.
I made a couple, but didn’t bring them to my market because I didn’t like the quality and didn’t think it was okay to sale, I have a pattern for mini cat loafs and plan to make and sale some!!!
