Market help pointers

Hi guys! So I’m thinking about doing some markets later next year i was hoping to get some pointers. Also I came on here to ask if anyone knows where I can get a tent for relatively cheap. Also what are some of you guys best sellers? My dad thinks I should do characters from like movies and shows he thinks those would sell best. What do you guys think?!

I think characters is a good idea, and things that are trending at the time you are doing the market!

I know that character themed items are popular but they are also copyrighted and by rights shouldn’t be sold anywhere. There was a recent post by @craftycellist who did a market and posted all the items they made for their market and the market results (best sellers). Perhaps if you check out the post under All Spaces, Marketing Help, Market Day! Day #1 (updates all day) - #123 by ACD76 you will get some inspiration.

Oh, no, I’m so sorry. I’m still getting the hang of Ribblr. I didn’t mean to tag you. I was just trying to direct @kaileyjones2810 to the recent Market Day post by @craftycellist for some inspiration for markets.

I thought I’d just copied the header of the post.

…but somehow it linked to you. I’ll be sure to double check this in future.

Thanks for pointing this out to me.

Although I’ve never done a market, I think that the best things that would sell the most would be keychains, axolotl‘s, and maybe some things related to holidays depending on the time that you do the market. I think that the TV show idea is great, you just have to make sure it’s a very, very well known show. I’ve seen a lot of people crocheting things like Bluey, and I’ve seen that those sell out super fast. You can also make small mushroom people! I’ve noticed those in many markets, and everybody loves them. I’ve crocheted a few myself. For the tent, I’ve seen that a lot of people like to rent tents, if they’re not doing too many markets. I’ve also heard that Walmart or Costco sells cheap ones.

I also think that a lot of @LexaLovelyCrafts animal series would sell super quick, because they are literally the cutest things I have ever seen.
